The Swink Project @metamatic:taf

Metamatic:taf presents the exhibition Swink, a design project combining swing dance and ink. Inspired from swing dance, each of twenty-nine design studios and freelancers designed a poster in order to bring together music with design and visualise all the feelings coming from this kind of music. See below some photos and posters from the opening of the exhibition but some of the latter ones are missing from this post, so make sure to visit metamatic:taf (Normanou 5, Athens) to see the whole exhibition until Sunday, 26th of May.

12:00-21:00, Κυρ. 12:00-19:00

DIY Cartoon Lunch Bag

This DIY is a sequel on the lunch bag clutch I did last year.

I tend to buy tote bags every summer, therefore I have plenty of them. Though, I use only two or three of them and need to find ways of reusing them. This tote bag used to be my favourite one when I was around sixteen but became bored of it soon and stayed in my wardrobe for so long. I thought that it would make a great lunch bag. And I need your opinion on that.

You will need: -a tote bag (this is a ZARA, bought around 7 years ago) -a seam ripper -scratches -thread & needle

Remove the handles using a seam ripper.

Find the right place to sew the scratch. Actually, I "divided" the bag in four pieces, put the one in the end of the first part (back side) and the second in the middle of the bag (front side).

Here it is!

Loving For Living

Obviously I couldn't not upload an outfit post with my DIY leather vest. I got to love it so much and looks great with pieces I already own, as this top (also worn here) and the collactable Giganto Books tote bag. Vote for me?
